I plan on bringing her carseat because I’ve been told they will give her a seat if there is one available. I know they will check it for free if there isn’t. My question is if I bring an umbrella stroller will they charge me to check that too if they have to check the carseat?

i’m looking at the joovy sit and stand models, and the baby trend ones. anyone know anything about either?
also, the new joovy lightweight is far more expensive than the ‘non lightweight’ one, any experience with it to prove if it’s worth the extra money?

i only have a 4 door car so whatever i get will be going in my trunk. i don’t think a side by side model, or something with 2 full seats will work.

i am travelling to india in a few weeks, via Air india. i called Air india helpline to ask if i can take a stroller into the plane or in have to check in at the gate. what she told me is a bit confusing. she told me that i don’t have to check in the stroller at the gate, i can take it into the plane. and as i have a baby with me. i will be given the front row seat (that has more leg room) and i can put my stroller in that area and i can put my baby into the stroller while on the plane so i don’t have to put her in my lap all the time. i am still not convinced about it though. because its not safe to put a baby into stroller like this. what do u think. did any of you have done this? thanx in advance.
