whatever floats your boat asked: I have a 7mo daughter and she weighs approx 6.5kgs (14lb something..) just wondering when the best time is to ditch the bulky pram for an upright umbrella stroller? She can support her head fine, and has for months now, problem is she might be a bit small for it..

MRS.H asked: Is a baby bucket with a travel system safer that a lay-flat stroller? Or is a lay-flat stroller safer for a newborn?

Ellen A asked: My mother in law acts strange my new four week old son whenever we go to visit her she wants complete control of him. She immediately wants to hold him when we get there (i understand) but she wants to feed him and change him to. (thats okay with me too) but she does things like she’ll go through his diaper bag and change his clothes or take his shoes and pants off of him and say hes too hot. Or she takes him out of the room I’m in and goes somewhere to be alone with him. (not suggesting any sexual things) and just holds him. I just dont understand why she needs to be alone with him. Then she went and bought a baby swing, bassinet, playpen, highchair, stroller, carseat, bottles, diapers, wipes etc. for her house for when he is with her. She babysits once a week 2hrs while i’m at school & wants to babysit more even when i’m not in school. She asks to have him come stay the night and to take him camping with her and her husband. I tell her no and she cries & my husband gets mad@me? HELP?

as i said i don’t know if its fear or maybe just like an anxiety they are fine when it doesn’t move like they will want to go and smell what the heck that is but as soon as it moves they are starting to go crazy

twobearcatz asked: Anyone tackled this problem with success? I live in a Florida neighborhood that has an HOA in place. Over time, speeding has grown out of control. Since most of the residents are the speeders, they aren’t too interested in stopping it!
We’ve been able to get speed traps, etc which have sadly netted many excessive speeding tickets on 25MPH residential roads. Yes, people routinely whiz past baby strollers, pets, and kids doing 40+ on NARROW residential streets with no sidewalks.
Lately, I just can’t stand it. I drive all around the city in my line of work and my neighborhood is one of the worst! If you drive anything close to the speed limit they just tailgate the !@#% out of you. I’ve gotten in road rage within a block of my house! Even more ironic is that this neighborhood has a number of police as residents.
I’ve been told that I should hammer on the HOA to get speed bumps, more signage, etc as the “internal” streets are really their responsibility. TIA for any ideas!

Lovemybabies asked: Hello, I was wondering if anyone else had a problem with the Baby Trend Jogging stroller? it is the single child one expedition one. it is black and green. When I walk the front tire wobbles and I tightened the bolt like it said in the instruction manual if the tire was wobbley. UGH not what I thought it would be.. Anyone else have this problem?
I tryed to tighten the bolt but it was really tight already and I have tryed to lock the tire and it didnt wobble but than it was hard to turn…
