if she's holding herself, then i would say now is good.

my son is a big boy, so stopped using the carrier at about 8 months or so. he's not even 1 years old and already 31inches (as of his last appt. in december).

i removed the bumpers when he started holding his head up, so i stopped that after a few months.

I read an article recently that said that baby's shouldn't be put into jogging strollers until roughly 6 months of age. So, I assume that your baby should be fine in the regular part of the stroller. Make sure to keep all the pieces in your vehicle for the car seat to click onto the stroller though - it's convient when your baby is sleeping in the car seat to just click it into the stroller and go do your shopping etc.

My stroller reclines, so my son's been riding in the actual stroller since he's been born.

As long as she holds her head up good, she should be fine.
