One of the most common questions. You see it differs from 6 months to 14 months depending on size of your baby and how quickly they develop. Being a father of a 18 month i've got quite a bit of time on my hands now to look after him and have found that at about the 10 month mark we needed to swap to a stroller called the "englacha". Its fantastic.
Hope any of that helped. Jed A

for longer trips we still use it bc it has so many positions, such as lying flat when she wants to sleep although she will sleep in her maclaren umbrella stroller...shes a lil over nine mos.....plus the bigger stroller has all the cup and snack holders, bigger basker for bigger diaper bag, etc.....i use my bjorn quite a bit when it is me and her just shopping from store to store ; would take the stroller to the mall, etc... tonnieRN

My baby is 1 year and still using the cortina travel system. The car seat can be used until they are 30 pounds but some babies didn't like it.
Anyway the AAP recommend that babies should travel backwards at least until they are 12 months old AND 20 pounds, but if you can keep them them facing back the longer the better. Dr. E

I have a Graco travel system. My daughter is 20 months and I still use the stroller, obviously no longer use the car seat though.
I also have 2 other umbrella type strollers that I do use. נєѕѕι¢α (ανα'ѕ мσмму)

we still use ours. he's not in the infant seat anymore, but we love the stroller. we do have a jeep all-weather stroller (umbrella style) that we use for quick runs here and there where we don't need such a big stroller...plus it seems to fit better in my car if I have a lot of shopping to get done...but primarily though we still use his larger stroller... mommy to a sweet little man
