baby strollers. make a desission?

I have been looking in to baby strollers and the one we like the most so far is the Chicco Keyfit travel system. I love the safty fetures and when we tested one out we loved it. But I wanted to hear from other moms that have used this stroller. the pros and cons. Also any suggestions for stroller shopping, we plan to buy our own stroller instead of leaving it up to the baby shower I feel its an important purchase.

my nephew had this stroller! I loved it! It was very easy to use.

I got one from walmart and it works just find it wasnt the cheapest or the most expensive i guess depends on what your looking for weather just for walks..trips…etc

I’ll be honest I had this exact system. Loved the car seat, hated the stroller. Infact I think I only used it 3 times found it to combersome for me and bulky for my SUV. So when my son was a few months old I bought a different stroller(from rockstarbaby.com) which I soon did not like either and just a few months ago I purchased one from Combi and love it wish I had found it sooner. Maybe mine was defective but it didnt give a smooth ride infact it was more of a pain in the a** then any stroller I had ever pushed.

My big beef with our stroller was the basket. The basket was pretty big, but the opening was so small, you couldn’t get anything in it. so there was no place to put the diaper bag or shopping bags at the mall, and I would have to carry all that stuff and push the stroller at the same time. I’d say just make sure that the basket is big enough for you, but also that the opening is big enough to fit your diaper bag.

Chicco Key-fit is an amazing stroller. It is light weight, has convenient features for moms, and the design is really nice. The Stroller itself can hold up to 50 pounds, reclines in multiple positions (even all the way which is hard to find), and even has a feature that lets taller kids easily take naps.
The Car Seat was rated a top safety car seat in consumer reports. It has the EPS foam in the car seat that serves as a helmet to protect that little head. You can use the car seat till 22 pounds.
I give you a definite yes you should get this travel system!
