The answer is a qualfied ‘yes’, but you may have to pay excess baggage fees. CALL the airline. That’s the only intelligent thing to do. Ben Dere Dun Dat

If you’re going to be renting a car when you get there, rent a car seat or two to go with it. Many rental agencies have them. It’s a lot less hassle and worth a few extra bucks. Trust me. I fly a LOT with my baby daughter. The less you have to haul with you, the less stressful it will be. As an alternative, if you have spares (like two for each of yor cars, if you own two cars, ship one set ahead of time by UPS if you’ll be staying with family or friends. Also be sure to check with the airlne for excess baggage fees, restrictions for carry-ons and prohibited items. The LAST place you want to find this out is at the airport. The kids should have something to chew and /or swallow to help relieve the pressure buildup in their ears during climb and especially during descent. Babys and toddlers don’t know how to clear their ears. If they have a cold, it can be excruciatingly painful for them. Same thing with tummy gas. The last thing other passengers want is bawling kids, and it won’t be pleasant for you either, so try to head these things off before they get started. Have a good trip. Zaphod_Beeblebrox
