In the rear of a wagon type vehicle,  look into putting tie downs in place,   bungie cords may be an option,   and always make the effort place items as far forward as possible to restrict movement against the back of the seat immediately in front.    With heavier items,  this also keeps the specific gravity of the vehicle correct,   making safer driving and keeping your headlights down out of others eyes.</description>
