You should be able to bring the one you have and gate-check it. That means that you keep it with you until you are boarding the plane, and then an airline employee will take it from you, put a tag on it and stow it away during the flight, and then someone at your next stop will take it out and have it waiting when you leave the plane. It's pretty convenient, and the size of the stroller shouldn't be an issue, but ask the airline just to be sure.

It depends what airline service you go with... almost all of them allow you to bring a stroller and carseat free of charge... I just flew with Delta and Northwest last week with my 3 month old and her stroller is very big and bulky but collapses (its one where you can put the carseat onto the stroller) and they didn't say a thing.. though seeing that your baby is a little older it might be more convienent for you to take a lighter umbrella type stroller

Good luck and have fun!

Call your airline service just to make sure!

i have a pretty large graco stroller and i was able to take it you just push it right up to the plane and then take your baby out they take it and put it.. somewhere lol.. some closet or something then have it for you when you get off.... i was nervous about this also...
i also took my car seat and was able to check that for free.. the flight attendents were really help full i was by myself with my 3 month old, and had to have one hold him while i got all my stuff gatherd.. ya know the jacket his bottle the bib... and of course he spit up a bunch right down the front of my black shirt so i was looking really good at that point haha
but shouldnt matter the size of the stroller mine was quite large
good luck
