Do you hate it when you see someone run across the street with a baby stroller or a child?
It is amazing how reckless and careless people can be. Earlier in the week I saw a woman dart across the street with twins in a double baby stroller and almost got hit by a car.
I’m in NYC for the week. Just a little while ago I watched a man run across the street with TWO little children. They almost got hit by a bus. The bus came so close to hitting them that several people that was standing by screamed including myself. Then people started YELLING at the man. One woman was about to hit him. When the guy she was with grabbed her and dragged her away. OMG!!!!

Never really seen this happen but obviously parents should be more careful with their kids.

That sort of irresponsibility happens in NYC on a minute by minute basis. I simply cannot understand why people are in such a hurry to go nowhere fast. What would be the big problem in crossing in designated areas. I can be reckless but only with myself.

You ever heard the Phraseology ” In a New York minute”?
Well crazy, insane, and bizarre things happen in NYC every single minute, on the minute. To the point where people are so cavalier about certain things. But NYC is not the only city I’ve been to where I’ve seen people do reckless and careless things. Although it is one of the most energetic, fast paste, insane, craziest, place I’ve ever had the pleasure of living in.
I live in NYC for 7 months a few years ago. I’ve seen people do things that literally blows your mind. A lot of times I would stand there all shocked with my mouth hanging open. And New Yorkers would be walking by all cavalier about the situation like it is just another boring attraction in a zoo and say ” New York….You never Know.”
I just find it so….so….amazing that people in general take the risk that they do, with their life, and the lives of others.
I also think that parents set a terrible example for their children when they dart across the street with their children in tow. The child of course is going to do the same thing sooner or later. BUT…they may not be so lucky to make it across the street alive.

Yeah, I think kidnapping.
But seriously, my mother was crossing the street when she was pregnant with me and got hit by a car. She had to have several teeth replaced. I was fine… apart from the whole insanity factor, but that’s beside the point.
