Does anyone know the policies regarding baby strollers in Las vegas hotels?
We are going to Las Vegas to visit my Grandma who has cancer and to go to my cousins wedding at the Bellagio. I’ve hear rumors that a lot of hotels don’t allow strollers, wasn’t sure if that was the case. I by no means think Las Vegas is a place to bring babies, but due to the circumstances, I will have a 7 month old with me. I’d like to go out during the day and see random things, do some shopping, light shows etc. But I’m just a little nervous about the ‘anti-baby’ bit. Any thoughts?

Bellagio an Wynn are the only 2 hotels that allow strollers for the hotel guest ONLY no other strollers are permitted. The rest of the hotels will allow strollers on the main walkway that goes thru the casino, but no where else on the casino floor.

We went about 3 years with our 2 month old (wedding as well) and we had no problems taking our stroller through the hotels. As long as we stayed “on the path” and not take any shortcuts through the casino floor nobody said anything. We went to the Forum Shops at Caesar’s Palace which has lots of shopping and even has a FAO Schwartz (lots of toys galore!) You’ll have no problem taking your stroller in there.

Strollers are allowed in the hotels here but not in the casino areas. The reason is that several years ago Steve Wynn who is half blind tripped and fell over a stroller. He banned them from any of his casinos and others just followed. He calls it a safety issue. When you enter from outstide his casino, the Wynn, there is actually a person standing there to inform people about the stroller rule.
