that would tick me off! i had something similar happen this weekend, my husband was holding the door for me (and my enormous 8 months pregnant belly) to waddle out of, and some guy just barged in & basically shouldered me out of the way almost knocking me down. it was so rude!!!
Oh, that’s just rude and inconsiderate! I’ve seen that happen. I don’t have kids, but my husband and I have always helped out moms with kids in strollers. Basically, my husband always helps out people in need. he’s a good guy! Sorry that happened to you! Maybe someone who has done that will read this and realize they are being selfish, rude and inconsiderate.
Actually that has happened but the more recent would be when I had two coffees in each hand, a bag of groceries slung over my wrist( plastic bag) and two of my kids walking out in front of me while I tried to hold the door for them and as I was walking out the door was shutting behind me and some guy said Thanks For Holding the Door sarcastically!
No I have yet to encounter that…I do remember holding the door open with my struggling baby and the girl waltzed in and did not say thank you, put her nose up and did not even acknowledge I just worked over time to hold the door for her, needless to say the next door was in her face…………
LOL How true. Back in the day when this happened to me…I usually say “Why thank you.” Then they felt like an *ss and apologies and hold the door for me. LOL
