I walked past it one day before I was even pregnant saw it thought it was cute. Then when I found out I was pregnant I went back to see if they still had it and they did. I put it on my registry and my aunts and cousins bought it. It was simple I didn’t even really look at all. Supermommy!!!

I didn’t research strollers. I decided a baby would be happier being carried by my husband and I so I researched wraps and carriers a lot, got a Moby Wrap and ring sling… Then 3 months postpartum, I wanted to begin running again, since my husband works in camp week on week off I cannot consistently run… SO I researched jogging strollers for about a week, got one with shocks and fixed wheel. All I need to run a couple of times a week on trails. Still use the wrap for everything else. Alice

I’d just be using a sling for a newborn.

An inexpensive umbrella stroller is all I need. I do only short jaunts and errands. I hate shopping, so if a longer trip is required, I’d just leave baby at home with dad.

You just have to decide your usage needs. A lot of people are happy with the travel systems, but they are simply too big and heavy for me. Doodlestuff

I got a travel system for my shower — I registered for that and knew I wanted one for the infant seat/stroller combo, so that didn’t take much thought. we got a graco metrolite system. I used a sling too, but certain things required one or the other, it was nice to have both. I’m out a lot. when he grew out of his infant seat though, we needed a new stroller because the big travel system stroller is sooooo huge and clumsy and it took up my whole trunk. I was researching for about a month for a new smaller sized umbrella stroller — I really recommend the inglesina swift, which is what we ultimately decided on. it’s similar to the maclaren quest (I tried both) but half the price. I also tried the chicco C6 and looked at the chicco liteway and the inglesina was my favorite. it’s SO nice. H

let me give you some advice. You want to know how it works before you use it. So wutever store you plan on going to, check online first. read some reviews of people who have used it. it will let you know if its hard to put together, the ease of use and how easy it is to fold up. if its hard or easy to wash or if it broke easily or wutever. write down a few that you like and be aware if its available online only. then u shud go to the store and see how they feel when u push them around….i did. it only took me about 20 mins online. i ordered mine online tho. it turned out perfect for me!! I asked the staff at the store, he explained everything to me about all of them. I went with the Chicco. I’m glad I asked, because when I first saw that brand I thought it was cheapy, but it’s actually great..and not one of the cheapest. WhyteGirL

I thought pushing a ten-pound object, an ‘object’ that would rather be in arms, was stupid and silly. I still think that.

I bought some nice slings and carriers, researching those purchases a bit, and then bought a stroller I liked the looks of when my daughter was 19mo and too heavy for constant carrying. K
