I don't use mine for our walks or long periods because they just aren't comfortable for them to rest in. I think they should be able to hold their head up on their own. If thats all you can afford, then you find ways to make it work. The bad thing is you'll have to drape a blanket over the front to protect it from the sun. I prefer the carseat combo strollers...they r AWSOME! that way you don't have to wake the baby when u get them out of the car...
