It’s your own personal choice…. red is a either or color but also an angry color… and also the first color babies actually see… so yet again, it is ultimately up to you if you wish to get it in bright red. chelseasmom03

Red is more of a neutral colour, or it could be considered a boy’s colour, but that is mostly just stereotypes. If you like it, buy it. Forever Bored

If you like it, get it. Who cares if it’s red, blue, yellow, pink, whatever. I see red as one of the gender neutral colors anyway so you could use this set for any future babies as well. It’s not like your baby will be any less of a girl if she’s not being toted around in a pink flowered stroller and seat. Noah’s Mommy & Marine Wife.

It is the perfect gender neutral color in the event that child #2 isn’t a girl or you want to sell the stroller after you’re done with it. More importantly, did you check the Consumer Reports saftey ratings on the stroller and the car seat because that’s what really matters. FKF

It doesn’t really matter what color the baby equipment is!! It’s all your choice. My daughter’s car seat is black and yellow with polka dots, her stroller is Green and brown with polka dots and they snap together. We didn’t realize they were even the same brand, when we bought them, just that we liked the unconventional neutral colors. I like to think that we are influencing our daughter to make her own choice about her favorite color and not force pink on her! Good luck! I hope this helps you with your decisions! Cyndie

that’s an amazing stroller! and yes, I think red is just fine for a girl, I think it’s a pretty gender neutral/unisex color even though it’s bold. plus you can use it for a boy if you ever have another — I made sure all my big ticket items were gender neutral so that we could reuse them (or resell them easier). hannah

The Orbit system is fantastic however with a close to $900 pricetag for the travel set (no other way to get it that Im aware of), plus accessories like the toddler seat etc. you have to wonder if it’s worth it for such a short time?
Red is fine for a baby girl, it’s the new hot baby color. victoria
