If she can walk I'd try letting her walk while holding her hand, or if that doesn't work, do what my bff did and get a leash. Yeah, they look terrible, but now her kid can happily walk around and she doesn't have to worry about her wandering too far away. Shemri

Perhaps the stroller is not comfortable for her?? What kind of stroller is it? We had the same problem with our daughter when she was 12 months and when we switched to a more comfy stroller, she LOVED going for stroller rides. Maybe sit her on a blanket in there to try and make it more comfortable? I don't blame you for not wanting her to cry. It's clear that it doesn't make her happy! I've never heard of the stroller cry it out method. =) Welcome Fall

Dont take her to the zoo until she can walk on her own and hold your hand and not wander off. She wont miss out on anything if you can find some more appropriate activities for you and her that dont require her to be in a stoller.. I mean, come on... you were smart enough to figure out that she doesnt like the stroller but not smart enough to avoid that situation? really? Trust and Believe

Try talking to her like pointing out things you can see on the walk, like tree, doggie etc. Maybe give her some healthy finger food or a beaker of drink. That used to work when my son was that age. herblaura
