My daughter is 8 months old and doesn't like being in her stroller. I would love to take her for walks since it's getting nicer but she cries to the point that I carry her the rest of the way home. This was a good question, U was wondering the same thing because I see other babies in strollers and they seem perfectly happy.

Get a carrier so hes on your chest. He will feel comforted and safe, and will be near you.

Hi, Congrats on your baby. Your son is still quite young and has come to be emotionally dependent on you. The fact that you put him in a stroller he seems okay at first cos he is out but after a while the emotional part of his brain triggers in and he's like where is my mommy as he cannot see you causing him to become distressed and start crying. The best thing you can do is continue to put him in the stroller. Maybe when you are at home open up the stroller and let him sit in it whilst you are doing housework. He will start to get used to the idea that his mom is not leaving him alone. You could also buy him one of those activity bars that you attach to the front of a stroller maybe this will cause a distraction and he will associate sitting in the stroller as a fun activity.

hope this helps good luck :)

My son hated his stroller too -- until he was a lot older! Do you have a baby carrier instead? My son loved his carrier, so that's what I used for his first 7 months. After that, he got used to his stroller by taking short walks. About the time when I could give him little snacks (10 months?), he started to enjoy his stroller rides more. I would fill the snack compartment with cheerios, and that would keep him entertained.
I think some babies just want to be close to you, and might feel far away in the stroller.

My baby was the same way, i really didnt do much except got him a little music player and it worked, now i dont need it, it just takes them a little getting use to. Maybe you should try it with toys or something to get him/her distracted
