Your son is still quite young and has come to be emotionally dependent on you. The fact that you put him in a stroller he seems okay at first cos he is out but after a while the emotional part of his brain triggers in and he's like where is my mommy as he cannot see you causing him to become distressed and start crying. The best thing you can do is continue to put him in the stroller. Maybe when you are at home open up the stroller and let him sit in it whilst you are doing housework. He will start to get used to the idea that his mom is not leaving him alone. You could also buy him one of those activity bars that you attach to the front of a stroller maybe this will cause a distraction and he will associate sitting in the stroller as a fun activity. hope this helps good luck :) Hi, Congrats on your baby. About the time when I could give him little snacks (10 months?), he started to enjoy his stroller rides more. I would fill the snack compartment with cheerios, and that would keep him entertained. I think some babies just want to be close to you, and might feel far away in the stroller. My son hated his stroller too — until he was a lot older! Do you have a baby carrier instead?
