My baby hates to sit in the stroller?

help! my baby is now a year old and we never really went out much except when she was small and she got used to being carried. so we didnt put the stoller habit in her and now she prefers seeing the world being carried by us.
the only problem is she’s getting older and heavier and my back cant take much more. she will have cry nonstop until i carry her again, and honestly i dont know really how she will react because the two times it happened i didnt dare embarrass myself again, it was really nerve racking.
is it too late to help her get into the stroller habit? the thing is sooner or later in public if she cries nonstop i feel so mortified i just give in and pick her up. please help me (and my back!!)

maybe try going for walks around your neighbourhood for short times, like 10 mins and point out interesting things like animals, the trees, etc. I find that distraction at that age works wonders!
I think you need to persist as she will only get heavier! Vanessa D

make sure she has her favourite toy and blanky, and hanging toys off the stroller helps. Try trial run around ur block as Vanessa D pointed out, you also have to tell them about the trees, and birds and whatever else. Oh the joy of parenting!! michelle H
