Queeni baby stroller brakes problem?

I have a new 3 wheel queeni stroller I pushed the red peddle to hold the brakes while I take my baby out and I do this all the time but this time it’s stuck I pushed on the other side where its gray peddle to open the brakes and the red brakes are still stuck
