I have two single strollers (Stokke Xplory) for when my husband is with me. It's much easier to get around with singles. I also have an English Double Pram that I picked up from Craigslist for $75. for when I take out the girls by myself. My 21 months old walks fine too but trust me you don't want to be chasing after a toddler while pushing a stroller. I have used one of the Stokke's while using a Baby Bjorn Carrier however it can be tricky when you need to help out your toddler (Change Diapers, Prepare Food..etc) while having a baby attached to you. If you can, I would say go with two singles and a double.

I would keep the single stroller. With the 13 month old walking well she might like to push from behind. If you know that your older one is going to be riding a lot also maybe you could invest in a reasonably priced or gently used double stroller. That would really be the best solution in my opinion. Once they grow out of them then you could sell them for things needed in the next stage of growing up. Lots of luck.

My children are 18 months apart and I got rid of my single stroller and opted for a double jogging stroller. When my daughter wants to walk instead of ride it really doesn't affect the stroller ride all that much. But I find that she rides more often than not. (She is 2 1/2 BTW)

If you have the money you could get a single stroller from Phil and Ted with an attachable 2nd seat. (These are really neat, but very expensive!)

Good luck with whatever you decide. But ultimately if you have doubts I would at least wait awhile before deciding what to do.

Its preferance. If you prefer a double sell it. If not, then keep what you have. Plus how much you use it would be a factor...

I would keep it. Even when your daughter is bigger your baby would benifit from a stroller and by then you have no use for a double. If you could find a cheap double that would be awesome.. Cause im sure there may be instances that you would still use the single.

I kept my single and got a double too. Sometimes I only go out with one child and it's a pain to use a double so I'm glad that I kept my single. I got a sit and stand stroller for my kids and it's a lot easier to push then the Graco double that I had originally. It has an attachment to add to the front for an infant car seat and it has an extras seat you can put in the back so it can be a double or a sit and stand. Mine is by Baby Trend and it's great. I hated the Graco one I had.

If your daughter is walking I'd keep the single stroller. She's a big girl now and should walk most of the time. If you go to the mall you can rent a double.

I would keep it. What if someone takes out little woman, while you stay home with new baby? They wouldnt want to push the double with only one baby. LoL. Plus, it's way easier to use sperate strollers for seperate babies, unless you are alone, then of course the double is the only way to go.
