i am looking for a rear facing baby stroller. i am considering the bumbleride flyer because it is not too wide and relatively light weight. the reviews are mixed though. i don’t need an all terrain stroller but i do live in brooklyn and will take the stroller out for walks in the park and around the neighborhood. any advice? and yes i do want a stroller that allows my little one to face me. thanks so much!

How old / at what developmental stage was your baby when you started using a jogging stroller?

To clarify, I am using a regular stroller right now to go on walks, etc. But I’m really wanting to start jogging again and I would love to take my baby along in a jogging stroller. I just want to make sure I am not doing anything to harm my baby if she is not strong enough, big enough, etc. Thanks in advance! :)

If say you had to take the baby out in a stroller and walk the dog, would this be killing two birds with one stone? I don’t own a baby of any sort but it came to me earlier that it might not be a bad idea. I don’t think anyone could look at me with a straight face and say they wouldn’t find the sight of a baby in cowboy boots and hat strapped to the back of a large dog awesome. Other babies would be jealous.

Are jogging strollers ever used for daily activity other than jogging?

I have the opportunity to get a jogging stroller for the baby we are expecting. Are they specifically used for jogging, or do women use them as strollers as well? Would they be too big and bulky for that traveling around in a mall or to a restaurant etc? What about going on walks? Are they easy to maneuver? And what age can can you start to use the stroller (for the baby)? yes, you guessed it, I don’t jog.
I know I have alot of questions, but thank you for all your input!!

I don’t have a baby yet but I might in the future. My question is about baby backpacks and strollers. Snuggli is one backpack I have seen. How useful are they? I saw one that said it could be used in the front for a small baby and on the back for a larger one up to 27 pounds. Are they comfortable and easy to get on and off? My concern was would my back start hurting after awhile? I have also seen some that have a metal frame that goes on the back? It looks kind of like the old hiking backpacks. Has anyone used that type? Is the soft Snuggli type better than the metal frame type?
On to strollers. I see alot of the stroller systems that come with the carseat carriers. Does anyone have an opinion whether they think the type that holds a carseat is better than just a regular stroller? I can see the benefits of both types. I would be a busy mom who be going on lots of walks and would also need to have one that would fold up nicely for the trunk of the car.Any other must haves for a baby?
