walking a baby in a stroller and walking a dog?

okay i am ot a dog person… the dog is an old golden retreiver so im walking the stroller and the dog is pulling on the leash whitch is making the stroller go faster.. should i just tie the leash around my wasit or somethin any ideas of like how to control the situation.. im a babysitter by the way.. ifg i go at the park with the baby.. what do¸i do with the dog.. i need to keep my eye on both of them.. soo any ideas ¸, advice would be helpfull thanks!

You need to try walking the baby and the dog at different times, why would you walk both if the dog is uncontrollable on a leash? Get him leash trained first. He could hurt the baby if he pulls too hard one day and knocks down the stroller or something. ~la la~

Shorten the leash but do not tie it to you or the stroller. You could get hurt or worse, the baby can get hurt. Try walking the dog without the baby and stroller and teach the dog to stay close to you by pulling lightly and saying “stay close” in a firm voice. Goldens like to run and they need the exercise so this is good for training and getting rid of that extra energy! shartyx44
