What can I get my mom for her baby shower?

baby stroller problem
Lauren E asked:

I’m 15, and my mother is having a baby in December. She is having a little boy, but I have a problem. She already has so many baby clothes from relatives and she has a crib, high chair, stroller, car seat and a playpen. I really don’t know what to get for her. Should I just buy her diapers and formula or what? Thanks in advance.

Diapers, yes. Formula, no. Not unless you know for SURE she’s going to use formula. If she ends up breastfeeding then she shouldn’t need it.

Otherwise make up a coupon book for her. Include chorese(i.e. “This coupon entitles you to one free load of laundry”) or babysitting ’services’. If she has everything she needs then make her something. Noah’s Mommy & Marine Wife.

Your mom will love anything you get her. Maybe some cute bibs Bobby

get her a gift voucher to get her hair, nails, massage or something else like that, then she can use it after the baby is born. i know that’s is what i would like…..( and got, it was great) ezza1982

You can buy her something like diapers or whatever is on the registry, or you can make her a coupon on the computer or if you are crafty you can draw one, offering a night of babysitting when she feels well to go out.

If you are the creative sort, you can make a diaper cake : ) luciddream928

The best gift I ever received when I had my daughter was time off from the kitchen! Or you could give her something similar to that. If you make a coupon or voucher book yourself with things like “free cooking” or laundry service, or even babysitting to give her a night away I am sure that she will absolutely love it! Good luck :) Expectantauntie

How about a mothers ring, you know with your birthstone and the baby’s and any other children in the family too. I saw some adorable inexpensive ones at.

Other than that services such as dishes, cooking, laundry, babysitting, she is really going to need your help. Daisy Interupted
