i got a whole travel system (infant carseat, car base, and stroller) for $100 from wal-mart you should really go look there if you want a cheap set it is a good set
you could try yard sales in your area that is how i got my crib, bouncy seat, changing table, and play pen for $100 and they were all like new heather

I’d get the carseat new or at least from someone you trust since they should not be used after they have been in an accident. I picked up mine for $45 at target. It’s not a travel system, but it worked for us!
For the other baby stuff try your local freecycle group first. Can’t beat getting stuff for free!
Also try yard sales, , your local newspaper classifieds, and baby consignment shops. Happy bargain hunting! Elle

Wal-Mart
That is where I ended up going for most all my baby needs and everything lasted a very long time, my friend still has the crib I gave her about 2 1/2yrs ago and my son is 5yrs old now. Also Wal-Mart has layaway with a 10% deposit and no fees so you can go in now and put the things that are most expensive like the crib, stroller/car seat combo, bassinet, swing or what ever you what and by the time the baby comes you will be ready. I wish you good luck and a healthy baby. Bw/TRUTH

With the warm weather heading our way, you could check out garage sales. You can usually haggle with people on the prices too. Also, I really enjoy shopping on ebay. You can find everything you need for your lil one. That is where I got a lot of my son’s stuff. They sell “lots” of clothes too. You can get like 10-24 outfits for dirt cheap in one bid. I bought a lot of 24 outfits for like 4 bucks. All clothing was recent and brand new. Just make sure to check everything out on ebay. Some deals are better than others. Wal-Mart and Targets websites are cheap sometimes too. They usually have deals for online items only. K-Mart’s website is another good one. You can also go to Yahoo shopping, and they will compare prices of all the stores website’s prices so that you can find the best deal. Sears isn’t too bad sometimes either. Just gotta find the sales and best deals. Hope this helps and congratulations on becoming a mother! It’s the best feeling in the world, a lil tiring sometimes, but worth every minute.
PS- When buying diapers….just get Wal-Marts brand of diapers. They are way cheaper, they work just as good as the name brand ones, and they are least likely to cause skin irritation. My son can’t use name brand diapers cuz of all the crap they put in em, they irritate his skin. Wal-Marts diapers work just as good, if not better. I noticed with Luvs and Huggies, they leaked alot. Pampers was my favorite until I started using Wal-Marts brand. If you do use Pampers, use the Swaddler/Cruiser edition, they are better than just the regular Pampers. Tracey
