It hasn’t happened to me, but I’m really sorry you’ve had to experience that.

I’m usually glad mothers can get out of the house with their babies. It’s great to be able to have a life outside of your home and to get some exercise.

I have to apologize more often for my kids walking in front of ppl than I do for running ppl over with the stroller. Now my husband…my poor husband…one day, I just kept doing it. Completely by accident…or maybe my subconscience was trying to get him out the way. LOL

I don’t know that it’s the running over of ppl that is the problem as much as the lack of apologies afterwards. Why can’t ppl just be kind?

I don’t think I’ve ever had that happen. In regards to rude people in general, I think it is unfortunately a sign of the times, as evidenced by some of the incredibly rude comments on here. Our society has become a “me” society. It used to be that you could depend on an older “gentleman” to have manners: holding the door open, help a woman lift something heavy. Now, a lot of them act like their mothers never taught them any manners. Just because some people are rude, does not mean everyone else has to join in. Show some class people.

Well, I’ve never intentionally done this to anyone, but I’ve noticed that sometimes, when I do say “excuse me” loud enough and several times, some people still don’t move. Then when you run over them, or move their cart out of the way, they get offended. I’m not saying that this is the case with everyone, but this has been my experience.

Perhaps it’s because some dumbass saw us coming and still refused to move out of the way. Sometimes it’s not so easy manoeuvring around obstacles with a cumbersome little-people-mover. Walk a mile in mommy’s shoes and then tell us what you think.

You know what, SOME mothers are gulity of that… even doing that to other mothers with strollers! I saw this one woman who pushed past an elderly couple and (deliberately) hit the older guy’s side. The old fellow was grimacing in pain while the woman just walked away as if nothing happened. Its sad… I’m a mother too, but swear to God, I never did that to others. It was unbecoming for a mother to do that in the presence of her baby. I cannot justify that rude behavior…

I don’t know, I’ve never had any such encounter. I have however pushed my sister’s stroller and sometimes you can’t tell that you’ve run over anything. By the way, they DO have the right of way. It’d be polite of you to step aside and let them pass or hold the door for them. If someone has been rude to you, plz don’t blame everyone pushing a stroller.

because they think the world owes them something for getting knocked up. like its our fault they slept with somebody and got them pregnant. they think the pain of childbirth gives them the right to give everyone else the shits
