Will it be hard to travel from Gatwick to Knightsbridge on the Gatwickexpress with a suitcase and stroller?
Are there lifts to get from the airport to the gatwick platform? I will have my baby in his stroller and a suitcase and be taveling alone and need to go from gatwick to my hotel in knightsbridge… I am scared!! And I have heard taxis are super mega expensive. ANy other ideas?

Yes, it will be very expensive by taxi.
The Gatwick Express does not go to Knightsbridge, which is an Underground (subway) station. It only goes to Victoria Station. Taking the Underground from there will be difficult with a stroller and a child (and there is not a direct Underground line between the two), so I suggest taking a taxi from Victoria Station to your hotel. It will be worth the money.
I don’t recall any problems getting to the platform from the South Terminal, although I’ll admit that it’s been a few years since I’ve done it. You have to take a monorail if you arrive at the North Terminal. If you need more information on accessibility, and someone else on this website does not have more specific information, try calling +44 (0)8458 501 530. This is the number for Gatwick Express.

Gatwick Express to Victoria: No problem. There are either ramps or lifts.
Victoria to Knightsbridge: Do a taxi. No question.
The Tube and Bus (with suitcase, stroller and kid) are a pain for people who know where they are going. Taxis are expensive, but for the journey to and from station, it’s more than worth it. And the bonus is that it’ll take you right to the front door.
Everyday travel: Use the bus or tube, taxis ARE super mega expensive!
